3 Easy Steps for Removing Viruses

1. Start the Computer in Safe Mode with Networking

b. Turn off the Computer and wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

c. Press the “F8″ continuously while the computer is starting up until you see the screen below.

d. Using the arrow keys, select Safe Mode with Networking and press enter. The computer will now begin running in Safe Mode with Networking and the virus will be a lot less active.

2. Download the Virus Removal Software

In this step we will show you another trick to bypass the infection and install the appropriate virus removal software without having it get blocked.

a. Open the Run Command Box

b. This can be accomplished by clicking the “windows” key and the “R” key.

c. This will open the Run Command box and will allow you to do a quick install without having it get blocked by the virus. Once open you will need to type the following into the run command box: iexplore http://www.fixs.me and press OK.

3. Install the Virus Removal Software

This is the most important step of all. The software you will be installing has been tested and proven to work for removing this virus.

a. After you have hit OK in the Run Command you have initiated the installation process. You will then be asked if you would like to “Run” or “Save” this file. CLICK “RUN”.

b. By clicking “Run” you will begin downloading a program called Spyware Doctor with Antivirus that is made by PC Tools. This program is owned and operated by Symantec the same company that owns Norton. Spyware Doctor with Antivirus is their award winning Virus Removal software and when it is installed properly will Scan the infected PC and Remove the virus.

c. Take a moment to make sure the Spyware Doctor is running properly. If it is not, you may have a variant of this virus that is blocking you from removing it.
