Illegality has no barriers, nor even a visa!! Site to download programs

I knew about the possibility to download movies, mp3 and software from torrents, Emule and Kazaa.  Some days ago a woman in USA has to pay millions because she or her children downloaded 23 mp3 from Kazaa. Normally when this happens in USA, people have to pay, 1000, 2000 dollars, big money, but not as big as millions of dollars. She wanted to fight because she didn’t want to pay, but she lost and now has to pay much more.

This is completely illegal. Why to punish a woman with family that downloaded 23 mp3 when there are in the world much worst things like people that allow other people to download programs and much more illegally and for free?

How is that possible that nobody closes this site? It’s ridiculous…
